This collection of artworks is centered around the theme of new beginnings - specifically when the seasons change. With winter ending, and spring slowly returning, I hold a sense of optimism and energy. This is a feeling I particularly recollect during the years I spent living Chicago - the snow and ice thawing, the flowers budding, the days becoming longer… I felt like I was leaving hibernation.
